"She is a great bus driver and is very passionate about her job and all about the safety of the kids! She has made the transition of my four-year-old riding the bus a very great experience! She loves the kids on the bus and our kids are always so happy coming off the bus at the end of day! We are truly blessed to have Miss G. as our bus driver! She truly deserves the recognition!"

"Athena is always welcoming and energetic when interacting with adults and students. She has been extremely helpful in supporting students' needs by offering to complete tasks for teachers, instructional coaches, and administrators. She loves to stay busy. She has been taking on tasks such as creating manipulatives, putting together dragon dollars, making passes, cutting out anchor charts, etc. This time she puts in allows other staff members to spend time in their classrooms with students. Her willingness to help creates a collaborative culture where we are all focused on making sure our students have what they need..."

"Jason has worked in a variety of settings assisting others throughout his career from food service to serving as a job coach at Oswego Industries. He is someone that makes connections with all who are around him. In 2022, he became part of the GRB alternative education team and continues to assist and make those vital connections with students who more than ever need them. He loves his job because he can take actionable steps with a numerous kids making them see their gifts that they have to offer our school and encourages them to notice the good they have within themselves. He goes above and beyond for the staff and students that he serves ensuring that they have resources to be successful. Whether it's personal needs, positive role model or being a trusted adult, he is their "go to" person. His colleagues describe him as a man who's heart is in the right place and he is ALWAYS looking to go the extra mile if it can help a kid. He is honest, genuine and adds variety and stability to life to Alt Ed. His impact reaches far beyond the walls of GRB and his efforts need to be celebrated and recognized..."
